Hamilton resident Angela Vos left her home to live in a tent a month ago, spurred to action after watching the Stoney Creek parking lot debate unfold in late February.
Several tents have been set up in protest of the failed motion at last week's general issues committee to have affordable housing built on two city owned parking lots.
“Hundreds of people park there daily to access local businesses, the Stoney Creek legion and the medical centre. There is very minimal parking available anywhere else in the area.”
