By the fire are at Evacuation Centers right now. The mandatory Evacuation Order for the community of baressa estates have been lifted. Some evacuees who live in the areas hardest hit by the fire may not be allowed to return to their homes for another week. Cobbs going to be the last one to get electricity and weve heard theyre going to have this thing set up for a month and a lot of that is for the homeless folks who dont have anyplace to go im guessing. Well see what happens when we get up there. Officials are telling evacuees federal help is on the way, and it will come with a minimum of red tape. For some students evacuated by the valley fire there was some sense of normalcy as pope valley reopened its doors on a voluntary basis.
