Drink driver s Brisbane booze up busted by Warrego Hwy patrol

Joshua John Duncan was pulled over by police on the Warrego Highway at Hatton Vale and after a RBT, blew over the legal limit. In the Gatton Magistrates Court, prosecutor Bettina Trenear, from Toowoomba Prosecutions said Duncan, 31, appeared tired, nervous and looked worried at the prospect of getting breath tested. Duncan had a passenger in the vehicle when he told police he was returning from a big night at a friend s house in Brisbane and had stopped drinking at 3am.

Neighbours hear gunshot , police search for drive away car

Police attended a Lockyer Waters home at 4.10pm on Monday, after neighbours reported what sounded like a gunshot. Laidley acting officer in charge sergeant Tony Harm said the weapon was allegedly discharged just once. There was a shot fired at Naomi Road. Someone went armed with a firearm and discharged that firearm towards an address on that road, he said. According to senior sergeant Harm, there were people home at the time of the incident and they are assisting police with enquiries.

Mark Alexander Aaron Blasdall was caught driving in Laidley on November 28 not only for drunk driving, but also driving without a licence due to a court disqualification. In the Gatton Magistrates Court on Monday, February 22, police prosecutor senior sergeant Al Windsor said police intercepted Blasdall driving on Cunningham Ave, Laidley. After conducting an RBT on, on November 28, 2020, police conveyed Blasdall to the Laidley Police Station where he submitted a specimen of breath for analysis.
