The OC Fair & Events Center in Costa Mesa is looking for workers to help put on the 2021 O.C. Fair, hiring a number of seasonal, part-time positions across several departments.
Jobs include building exhibits to ticket-taking to customer service in departments including parking, security and admissions. Positions are also available for applicants interested in being a member of the maintenance team, landscape crew or janitorial group.
Applicants must be 16 years or older and be willing to take part in virtual interviews and orientations during this year’s hiring process. Hiring has already begun with other start dates staggered toward the operating dates of the O.C. Fair, from July 16 through Aug. 15.

Apr 7, 2021 7:00 AM The worlds of rockabilly and ballet collide in a new collaborative dance production that features a performance by the Complexions Contemporary Ballet company set to three songs from Stray Cats bassist Lee Rocker s recently released solo album, Gather Round . The filmed presentation, also called Gather Round, was commissioned by California s Laguna Dance Festival and will get its premiere as a free, online event that will be streamed on April 25 starting at 5 p.m. PT. The performance will feature three short dance duets set to a trio of Rocker compositions Gather Round, The Last Offline Lovers and When Nothing s Going Right. As a press statement notes, the pieces will salute rockabilly music while celebrating the joy of living life, in all of its complexities.
