The LaGrange City Council has tentatively approved a slate of agency funding requests for the FY2024 budget. The city plans to fund a pair of initiatives to help reduce youth violence but notably intends to cut library funding.
On Tuesday, the LaGrange City Council approved an annexation and zoning request for an approximately 4.5-acre property in the 1700 block of West Point Rd.
On Friday night and most of the day on Saturday, the LaGrange City Council held its annual planning retreat at Great Wolf Lodge. The council uses the yearly retreat to have extended discussions on long-term projects, receive updates on city departments and help the city manager plan for upcoming budget recommendations.
