The supermarket warned customers who had bought the 136.6g President Mini Cheese Selection. The notice affects products with a best before end date of May 24 2021. Manufacturer Lactalis McLelland has ordered a recall of the product as it might contain nuts. As nuts are not mentioned on the product’s labelling, it could be a health risk for those with allergies. Anyone who has bought the product and has a nut allergy has been urged not to eat the cheese. Instead, customers will be given a full refund if they return the product to their nearest Tesco store. Barrow has three Tesco stores, in Hindpool Road, Rawlinson Street and Flass Lane.
