The latest Nuxe masterclass offers advice on how to protect against skin care reaction to the wearing of face-masks.
Paris beauty brand Laboratoire Nuxe has outlined the different type of skin reactions to wearing a face-mask and offered tips to combat them in the latest masterclass of the brandâs long-running beauty masterclass series.
The latest masterclass was led by Ingrid Pernet, Director of Scientific Communication for the Nuxe Group and an expert with a PhD in skin biology. Pernet explained the different types of reaction and offered tips to combat them using Nuxe products.
In the case of more sensitive very thin facial skin, the friction of the mask, especially on those areas of the face in permanent contact with the mask, weakens the skin barrier. This leads to irritation, tightness, dryness, redness and dehydration.
