There was nobody to report it o to. It is something now that the public can recognize can happen so the fact that there is precedent in other Police Agencies for allegations like this suggests that it is more important to get to the bottom of these allegations. Reporter i just talked with the mayor and he says the city is monitoring the situation. And he said that while the allegations are disturbing he says they are still allegations and not proven and just one side of the story. Officials have 30 days to respond to the lawsuit. And the District Attorneys Office says it is aware of the allegations and has not yet received a report from the Gilroy Police department which it would need.
