KUALA LUMPUR: A Malaysian court on Friday acquitted jailed former prime minister Najib Razak of audit tampering in one of the many cases he faces over a multi-billion-dollar corruption scandal at state fund 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).
PUTRAJAYA: The Federal Court has dismissed an attempt by Datuk Seri Najib Razak to disqualify a Court of Appeal judge from sitting in the review proceedings involving the SRC International Sdn Bhd case at the apex court.
The Kuala Lumpur High Court on Tuesday gave the green light for 114 Myanmar nationals to be deported from Malaysia, with rights groups slamming the decision and "strongly" urging authorities to reconsider.
