put shoes on your children and they re all kinds of things they were being told to help them adjust to life in the north because, and this is you know fearless as they might ve been they still didn t know quite yet the rules of the new place they were in. and then once they learn the rules it was almost like hazing. it was almost like once you get in the fraternity than you want to make sure anybody knew has gone to the same pages as you. i think it is very human. deal with what is happened to our children and grandchildren now who have just rebelled against it. i think it is part of the immigrant culture, the immigrant mindset, the immigrant heart. now of course i m in african-americans, we are not immigrants because they were citizens. they should not of had to leave one part of the country in order to experience the rights and privileges they were born into but simply were not recognize because of where they were living. but what happens with immigrants and there are
