Were getting our first look this morning at a Wyoming High School graduate who was detained in north korea two months ago. Ago. That 21yearold took part in a press conference where he confessed to trying to take a political banner from a north korean hotel. Jordan burgess is live with why many believe he was made to confess by north korean authorities. One of the bizarre parts of that confession dealt with Methodist Church in wyoming. Otto warmbier claimed someone from the church put him up to taking the banner by offering him a 10thousand dollar car and money for his family if he got caught. But the pastor says warmbier is not even a member of this church and hes never met his family. Warmbier was escorted into the press conference by two guards. He appeared to be in good health. He read from what looked liked a prepared statement. In it he supposedly admits to trying to take a political banner from the hotel where he was staying on his trip to north korea over new years.
