On Sunday, May 9, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot was at the virtual foundation stone laying ceremony of medical colleges at Sri Ganganagar and Chittorgarh where he urged Union health minister Harsh Vardhan, who was also present, to ensure that Rajasthan gets oxygen from nearby plants instead of far off places such as Odisha and West Bengal which took almost a week to arrive. “Please do not treat our feedback as a complaint,” Gehlot urged, expressing his disappointment at the Centre ignoring some of his requests that could have improved efforts against the Covid pandemic.
