Tourists were fascinated by "Godzilla-like" monitor lizards roaming round an island in southern Thailand last week. Curious holidaymakers filmed a 5ft-long reptile after it emerged near a beach on Koh Similan island in Phang-Nga province on 17 October. Visitors took selfies with the creature before it swam into a nearby pond, before another lizard appeared to the delight of onlookers.
