Eleven key players of the French beauty market nine brands (L’Oréal, Chanel, Pierre Fabre, Laboratoires SVR, Yves Rocher, Clarins, Melvita, La Rosée and Aroma Zone) and two retailers (Nocibé and Sephora) have joined forces in a consortium to explore the opportunities and challenges of implementing a deposit packaging return scheme for cosmetic products.
Initiated by circular economy consulting and training company Circul’R, with the support of the sustainable development consultancy We Don’t.
Garancia, Mustela, La Rosée, Bioderma and four Laboratoires Pierre Fabre brands gathered specially for the Pharma-Recharge Consortium to offer consumers some of their products in bulk in pharmacies. Launched last June at the Paris Opera pharmacy, the experience is a great success: the system is even being deployed to four new pharmacies in other regions across France.
Eight cosmetic brands – Mustela (Laboratoires Expanscience), Garancia, La Rosée Cosmétiques, Bioderma (NAOS), A-Derma, Ducray,.
