Kolkata, Feb 24 : Churchill Brothers headed back to the summit of the I-League table after beating NEROCA FC 1-0 at the Kishore Bharati Krirangan here on Wednesday.
Hero of the Match Clayvin Zuniga s 16th-minute strike from a well-built team move was enough to give Fernando Varela s side all three points in a game full of chances. With this win, the Red Machines have also secured themselves a top-six spot in the first phase of the I-League.
Crucial points are up for grabs when seventh-placed Sudeva Delhi face tenth-placed North Eastern Re-Organising Cultural Association (NEROCA) Football Club in the I-League at the Kishore Bharati Krirangan Stadium on Friday.Newcomers Sudeva .
(MENAFN - IANS) p>Kolkata, Feb 13 (IANS) Gokulam Kerala FC kept their hopes alive of finishing in the top six with a stellar performance against Tiddim Road Athletic Union (TRAU) football club in the I-League at the Kishore Bharati Krirangan. Gokulam won the match 3-1 to condemn TRAU to their second defeat of the season.
Emil Benny scored in the first half to give TRAU the lead after which Sharif Mohammad and Zodinglania Ralte scored in the second to seal a win for Gokulam. TRAU s Komron Tursunov scored just three minutes before the end of regular time but it only turned out to be a consolation goal.

Kolkata, Feb 8 : Table-toppers Churchill Brothers were held to their third successive draw in the I-League 2020-21 on Monday when the Red Machines were stopped in their tracks by Real Kashmir FC for a goalless draw at the Kishore Bharati Krirangan (KBK) Stadium.
With the points shared, Churchill Brothers continue to remain at the top of the I-League table with 13 points in seven games while Real Kashmir and Mohammedan Sporting are at their heels with 10 points and a game in hand each.
