FG summons contractor handling irrigation project in Adamawa

Adamawa Assembly Orders Removal Of Hostile Hippopotamus From Dam For Killing Fisherman

The Adamawa State House of Assembly on Monday passed three resolutions mandating relevant ministries in the state to immediately remove what it calls a “hostile hippopotamus” from a reservoir of Kiri Dam in the Shelleng Local Government Area. The resolutions were a response to the reported killing of a fisherman by the said hippopotamus. Daily Post reports that the resolutions were directed to the state Ministry for Environment, the Ministry of Livestock and Aquaculture and the Ministry of Water Resources.
