Another line of strong and severe thunderstorms moved through the southern Illinois region Saturday night, prompting a few thunderstorm and tornado warnings, particularly to the west of the Fairfield and Wayne County area. The storms lost some intensity as they moved to the east. Strong winds moved through the Fairfield area around 9 p.m. Saturday. A Tornado Watch was issued Saturday night which included Wayne County until 10 p.m.. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch was issued for areas to the east of Wayne County later Saturday night. Reports from the area indicated tornado warnings were issued for Clinton and Washington counties Saturday night, and there was a report of a tornado on the ground north of Nashville, Illinois, and a report of a tornado on the ground east of Kinmundy.
