GOV:UK SOME areas of Dudley have recorded 50 or more new coronavirus cases in a week according to latest figures. The latest data published on the Government website GOV.UK shows how many new cases have been recorded in the seven days up to January 1 – the latest data available. Dudley Priory and Wrens Nest recorded 55 new cases, while Russells Hall recorded 73 and Lower Gornal and The Straits had 68. The figures are split into several middle super output areas – zones that are slightly larger than postcode areas with an average population of around 7,200 people.
