The dough was rolled out, but the girls baking these cookies were not planning to keep them. They wanted to share them with those who were less fortunate.
Skylar, 10, and Samantha, 7, helped prepare dozens of sugar cookies in their Tillman home with their mom Kimberly Roland before Christmas.
“I have very fond memories of decorating Christmas cookies with my mom and sister growing up, so I am carrying on the tradition with my family,” Roland said. “I recently joined some local Facebook pages to see how we could help with the needs of others in our area.”
