12-Year-Old Parent Exposes Teacher s Racist Zoom Rant – Your Black World

By Victor Omondi The mother of a 12-year-old is seeking damages after her son’s teacher went into a half-an-hour ranting, laced with racist comments. Kimberly Newman, based in California, was working at the Desert Willow Fine Arts, Science, and Technology Magnet Academy in Palmdale, teaching science. It was during her working hours that she was recorded using racial slurs, particularly after a conference call with her 12-year-old student and his mother. According to SF Gate reports, the teacher’s words suggest that it wasn’t the first time she was using the anti-Black slurs.  The session was happening in the afternoon of January 20, 2021, between Newman, the 12-year-old, and his mother, Katura Stokes. After the session was over, Newman unknowingly failed to exit.
