Nominations are now being accepted for the 2022 Caretaker of the Year. The award, sponsored by Art Zubrod and Leah Cheverie’s Fair Island Farm in conjunction with the United States Harness Writers Association (USHWA), recognizes the unsung heroes of the sport the caretakers who maintain the health and welfare of the horses on a daily basis.
The Dan Patch Awards Dinner is rapidly approaching and along with it, the annual silent auction that is held in conjunction with the evening’s festivities. Once again the Harness Horse Youth Foundation and U.S. Harness Writers Association industry outreach will benefit from the proceeds.
