And the lease itself is for 55 years a the clerk had mentioned. The initial term, and an additional term for a lease of 99 years at the end of the day. As the board is familiar, if the Successor Agency is sub poed to wind down its activities at some point once their housing obligations are complete. So, upon completion of this particular project the lease itself will be transferred to the Mayors Office of housing and Community Development as the Successor Housing Agency and we will actually come back to the board for that authorization [speaker not understood]. Colleague, any questions on this . Okay. Lets hear now from members of the publi
Theres no definition of what a taxicab is at the state level. Tncs are defined as other carriers that are regulated by the cpuc. Im not sure cpuc is the best entity to be regulating. Any industry, much less Transportation Network companies, but at minimum, what is done for limousines at the cpuc level has to be done for tncs as well. I did want to make one amendment, although i realize in supervisor wieners version, the amendment i was going to make was deleted so im not sure if the files going to get duplicated or kind of some aspects of supervisor wieners amendment will be accepted, but the one piece i wanted to ensure was on page 3, under the resolve of more stringent safety regulations, that when we talk about using background checks, we do it in a manner thats consistent with a fair chance ordinance that the board of supervisors passed earlier this year around background checks. Did want to note that while we only allow employers to do a seven year look back at your convictions, w
Phones and electronic devices. Thank you, i want to thank all of you for being here today and i know that we have a number of amazing people who are in the audience and it is customary when there is a former member of the board of supervisors to acknowledge their presence. But i want to take that to a step further and acknowledge the presence of a very important lady, whose husband served on the board of supervisors who in many respects, is the grand of the San Francisco democratic party, so jane, if you could please. Jane morrison. Item one isordinance amending the police code to update the list of city job classifications responsible for enforcement of litter laws and having the power to Issue Citations for that purpose. What do they try and do when they get out . Live their life a proper way. This has been a hindrance to the people of San Francisco as well as the rest of the country. Young mothers, young fathers, young adults, theyre trying to get their life back on track and because of one certain box on a housing application or job application is denying them a future, a positive future for their lives, for their childrens lives. If anybody actually wants to vote no on this, then you are publicly saying Rehabilitation Program doesnt work. So, im urging this to go to the full board and pass unanimously since eight supervisors actually supporting this, i believe its 8 or 7, supervisors supporting this. So, i please urge everyone to vote yes on this. Thank you. Thank you, mr. Hernandez. And i apologize i didnt call the next 10 speakers, but i believe we have one of our commissioners here, board of appeals director arsenio hurtado, [speaker not understood]. Julian harper. Jerry elsters. Marlene sanchez.
