For those of us who were lucky enough to secure a next generation console, the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S are living up to much of what Sony and Microsoft promised. Despite this, neither console was the highest-selling piece of hardware during the 2020 holiday season in which they launched, both usurped by the Nintendo Switch.
There’s an undying demand for Nintendo’s hit hybrid console and now, as we enter a new generation, we’re left wondering what comes next. A Switch Pro has been rumoured since the Switch originally launched and will hopefully add widely requested features such as Bluetooth support, customisable home menus, and an OLED screen – all features sported by the much older PlayStation Vita.

PlayStation Exclusive Killzone Website Officially Retires
The official website for the PlayStation Exclusive series,
Killzone, has been taken down. This isn’t a result of a technical error, as visiting the site is met with a message from Guerrilla Games, the company that developed all six
Killzone titles. A link at the bottom of the page directs visitors to PlayStation.com.
“The official website for the

Sony has “retired” its official Killzone franchise website, affecting some online features and seemingly casting the franchise’s immediate future in some doubt.
A notice on Killzone.com has announced that going forward visitors to Killzone.com will be directed to PlayStation.com, but no clarification is offered on what it means for the future of the Guerrilla Games series.
“The official website for the Killzone franchise has retired,” the website notice reads.
“While this change doesn’t affect the online multiplayer modes, player statistics or ranking data for Killzone Mercenary and Killzone Shadow Fall, it is now no longer possible to create or manage clans in Killzone Shadow Fall. We apologize for this inconvenience.
Some Online Features in Killzone Shadow Fall Are Affected
It’s been 7 years since the release of the last entry in the Killzone series, Killzone Shadow Fall. Considering the lack of information about the series since the game’s release on PlayStation 4 in November, 2013, the fate of the series has been hanging in the balance ever since. Well, unfortunately it seems like things are looking even worse for fans of the series, as Sony has officially retired the Killzone franchise website, killzone.com.
The site has been updated with a notice regarding the changes made to the game’s domain. Aside from this notice, the rest of the site’s pages and features have been removed and are now inaccessible. Soon the site will be taken down entirely and will redirect you to PlayStation.com.
