it s less than 3%. which is why you you can t have that delay. you have to have the ability to just send it back. that s right. you identified the real problem, which is this issue of these drug smugglers. what do we do about that? mexico is not a partner in this. i m trying to think about to what we did with columbia. that took a while. that was rough, but over time, columbia s government became a partner in dealing with these drug cartels. the new mexican government, do you get the sense they re a real partner this trying to deal with the issue? i can t answer that because i am not privy to the conversations. the fact is that they re not doing what i think they could be doing to control their own southern border when they re allowing these bus loads to come right through with kids on. they can stop and say you re going back. the question is, i can t be
kids on. it seems inappropriate to me. so this halloween, one woman has decided to shame kids she thinks are obese. so today instead of candy, she s going to give them a harsh letter about their weight. it is today s gut check. i started part-time, now i m a manager.n. my employer matches my charitable giving. really. i get bonuses even working part-time.
halloween is the one time most of us are allowed to indulge our sweet tooth and not feel too badly about it. we still try not to go too overboard when it comes to the trick-or-treats. there s a woman from fargo using halloween s candy as a lesson in childhood obesity. instead of giving out sweets, she s passing out a letter to those trick-or-treaters she determines is a little overweight. the woman who didn t want to bow identified dialed into a local radio program to explain. i just want to 1e7bd a message to the parents of kids that are really overweight. i think it s really irresponsible of parents to sort of send them out looking for free candy just because all the other kids are doing it. i ve heard enough. i would probably say it s nobody s business, really. this is more an issue parents should be working with their kids on. i it seems inappropriate to me. i mean, i remember the houses
i think it s really rich that the people who are traditionally for a limited government, limited regulation, want the government involved in giving the issued government issued i.d.s on who can vote. it s not the case that we have this widespread epidemic of voter fraud happening. i know that the people that are in favor of these laws use the fact that, you know, protecting the voter, the integrity of the voting system as their rationale. here s a fact. it s more likely an american will get struck by lightning than try to commit voter fraud. this isn t affecting any elections at all. what in fact it s doing, though, taking somebody like thelma mitchell, a 93-year-old janitor that worked at the tennessee state capital for 30 years who had been cleaning that state s capitol and when she went to vote, she didn t have a birth certificate because she was delivered with the help of a midwife. she wasn t able to vote for the elected officials working a couple floors above her, a world
pain cuts deeper. it s bad for me. i mean, i m a mom of three kids. and i ve been job seeking since i ve been laid off from two jobs. head start meant to help low income children really feeling it. my concern is that often the folks that we see don t often have a voice the same way many of the travelers who are impacted by the faa furloughs did. kids on head start. seniors with meals on wheels. they deserve to have their voices heard. even if they don t have an army of expensive lobbyists in washington. the president said today, time for politicians to listen. joining me now, krystal ball and david corn. thank you both for being here. thanks for having us. my pleasure. krystal, let me ask you, can the president apply enough shame and political pressure on the republicans to force them to act on these budget cuts? i m hopeful.
