First Night is happening rain or shine on Dec. 31 from 3 p.m. to midnight, inviting thousands to one of the largest events in Monterey. For 31 years, First Night Monterey has rang in the new year on the Peninsula bringing cultural performances, arts and music entertainment to Downtown Monterey. Tickets are still on sale and will be available at the door.
