A GoFundMe campaign for Christopher Rendigs, a football coach at Mashpee Middle-High School who is battling cancer, is seeking donations to help with medical expenses.
Last year, Mr. Rendigs was diagnosed with appendix cancer just days before he and his wife, Kailyn, had their first-born son, Knox.
The campaign, titled âKoach Kicks Cancer - Chris Rendigs,â was organized by Kevin McNeil and created on August 7. In just over eight months, the campaign has amassed more than $38,000 and is now less than $12,000 from hitting the target goal of $50,000. The campaign has 245 donors, 882 shares and 241 followers.
