Bank of America Names Kevin Tracy President of Rhode Island

Bank of America has named Kevin Tracy as President of Bank of Rhode Island. Tracy succeeds Bill Hatfield, who has served as Rhode Island market president since 2004 and market executive for Bank of America Private Bank in Rhode Island, announced his retirement last month.
During his time as president in Rhode Island, Hatfield has been a critical leader in the community focused on leading and delivering for our employees and clients, while acting as a champion for the company’s responsible growth strategy. He has served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce and a member (and former Chairman) of its Board of Directors. PITTSBURGH A NASA mission slated for launch on Friday will place three tiny satellites into low-Earth orbit, where they will demonstrate how satellites might track and communicate with each other, setting the stage for swarms of thousands of small satellites that can work cooperatively and autonomously.
Zac Manchester, an assistant professor in Carnegie Mellon University s Robotics Institute and the mission s principal investigator, said small satellites have grown in popularity over the last 10 years, as some companies already are launching hundreds into orbit to perform tasks such as Earth imaging and weather forecasting.
