Blues boss Mick McCarthy says Town are continuing to take care over midfielder Teddy Bishop’s recovery with the 19-year-old yet to feature for the first team this season.
Midfielder Kevin Bru has been ruled out of Saturday’s game at Charlton and the home match against Leeds United the following week. Central defender Christophe Berra is suspended for the game at the Valley, but better news is that Stephen Hunt is fit after a hamstring problem and manager Mick McCarthy is “confident” that left-back Tyrone Mings will also be OK.
Mick McCarthy says he’s yet to hear from the clubs where Town players are currently on loan regarding their January plans, although he believes Coventry may well look at extending Frank Nouble’s time at the Ricoh Arena.
