TUESDAY NEWS HIT - Michigan s Attorney General has said she
will not investigate COVID-19 data as it pertains to nursing home deaths, following a request from Republican lawmakers and public officials to do so.
State Sen. Jim Runestad had requested Michigan s top cop take a look at nursing home data after the governor declined to release information. The GOP has pointed to missteps by New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo s administration as justification for looking into actions taken by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. But the situation here is completely different, Nessel, replied in a letter sent to Runestad Monday. I am aware that Gov. Whitmer s office complied with the (Department of Justice) information request and have no reason to doubt the accuracy of that response much less suspect intentional misrepresentations within that response.
Hackers post hate speech on Troy Schools website
The Troy School District website, troy.k12.mi.us, has temporarily been taken offline after an international hacker breached the district’s website and others hosted by them.

Hate speech and graffiti. Those were the words and images Troy School District administrators found strewn across the district’s website, which had been hacked, around 2 p.m. March 15.
Those who accessed the website around that time likely found a message posted at the top of the screen that said, “Good evening Troy School District! All the sites connected to your district have been hacked.”
Hackers post racist slurs on Troy schools website
Hackers posted racial, religious and gay slurs on the website of the Troy School District on Monday, forcing the district to take down its site temporarily.
Troy schools also host the websites of the International Academy, a group of three high schools with campuses in Troy, Bloomfield Hills and White Lake, which also were included in the hack.
A hacking group with a profane name posted a message at the top of the web page that read: Good evening Troy School District! All the sites connected to your district have been hacked by the group.
