KCA University to get new VC as Midamba exits

Prof Midamba, a distinguished scholar, told the
Business Daily in an interview on Wednesday that his contract ended in December 2020.
“I will be leaving towards the end of next month after serving for a period of 10 years. The institution is currently looking for a new vice chancellor to take over from me. We expect the exercise to close soon” he said.
Prof Midamba is the second VC to head the institution after taking over from Prof Daniel Oruoch in 2010.
In 2014, he was decorated with the International Award on Outstanding Contribution to Education by the Advisory Council of World Chancellors and Vice Chancellors Congress in India for his role in Kenya and Africa.
