The early-season dominance of jockey Juan Hernandez at Santa Anita was on full display again on Friday when with six mounts, the 30-year-old native of Veracruz, Mexico booted home three winners that included a sweep of the early daily double.
It’s a virtual “Who’s Who” of the most significant icons of photography of the past 50 years.
On Nov. 19, 12 photographers with strong Kansas ties becam the inaugural class of the newly minted Kansas Photojournalism Hall of Fame during a special event in Topeka.
