St. Louis County is excited to announce that all four parks and recreation pools will be open this weekend for families to enjoy and cool off during hot weather. Like other counties and cities in the area, St. Louis County is working to hire more lifeguards and has bumped up starting pay for these seasonal positions.
Twelve-year-old Julia Wensley started ice skating at age 3. Now, the young Kirkwood girl is sharing the ice with Olympic hopefuls — and aims to become one herself someday.
