Henry Prempeh '99 Speaking at Convocation

Henry Prempeh, a 1999 graduate of Church Farm School, will deliver the Convocation address on Friday, September 8 in the school's Chapel. Henry is a Christian, son of Ghanaian immigrants, husband and father. He received his master of arts from Pepperdine University in the area of clinical psychology with an emphasis on child and family therapy. He also has a PhD in clinical psychology from The George Washington University, where his research focused on the intersection between anger, depression and faith among African American adolescents. He then completed a one-year fellowship at the Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, where he worked with children and families through their Child Family Therapy Clinic. He has more than 15 years experience working with individuals struggling with a variety of psychological, emotional, behavioral, social and spiritual issues. He has worked in therapeutic settings in Washington, DC, public schools; the juvenile justice system; community organiz
