The 85yearold has announced hes stepping down the end of the month. He took over after the death of Pope Benedict xvi on april 19, 2005. In an address to the cardinals he said, quote, this is a decision of great importance for the life of the church. Again he said understanding what was required as being pope was something he was physically unable to continue doing the first time in 600 years. You may remember the pope recently joined things like twitter. Were talking about 21 degrees in reisterstown. So yesterday we were above average. Today, we are below average. We should be at 25, 26 degrees now for this time of the year for our low temperatures.
