People who didnt know the man have stopped by to bring flowers this is in front of the 7eleven where he worked and lost his life. In front of the balloon, theres a number of wanted posters plastered across the window. That young man, im hurt. We are all hurt. Im hurt. This is where we live at. Its affecting every one of us. Reporter at 4 50 a. M. On saturday, police say someone wearing a mask tried to rob this 7eleven. They didnt get any money, but they shot the victim in the back twice. The pair drove to a hotel nearby, and roughly 10 minutes after shooting him, detectives said the person with a covered face robbed

Meanwhile, congresswoman edwards calling for a sweeping independent investigation today with the crisis of confidence going on with the board of education, she wants parents who think their kids may have been abused while attending head start, she wants those parents to come forward right away. So we can get to bottom of this. Edwards issued a statement saying incidents such as these do not exist in a vacuum. They are indicative of the break down with the leadership chain that has in danger. We now know where it was coming from. What we dont know is why. Atf investigators have concluded that a gas explosion occurred in the basement of the apartment building. It happened in the meter room similar to the one pictured here. The gasfueled fire destroyed everything above it. At this point in time in the investigation there is no indication that a criminal act occurred. Reporter now the ntsb takes over the investigation to determine how the gas ignited. The smell of gas was reported to Montgomery County fire and rescue on july 25th by this resident. He says he also smelled gas the night. Explosion in this building, but he didnt have time to call 911 because just moments later it blew up.
