Two Liverpool girls have launched an independent fashion company that s so popular their clothes are being worn by Fearne Cotton, Vogue Williams, Shanina Shaik and more.
After meeting while studying for an MBA at the University of Liverpool, Sarah O’Brien, 39, and Katie Roche, 29, launched Make Thread, a sustainable social marketplace for independent designers.
The business, which is based in the Baltic Triangle, aims to challenge the status quo by providing a “sustainable solution to fashions ever increasing carbon emissions”.
