Unity, bipartisan cooperation, consequences for those who attacked the U.S. Capitol Jan. 6, a better economy, no new taxes on the middle class and equal rights for all.
Kathy Patton of Ashland said she hopes the new president brings peace to the country. It s so sad you know, but that’s what I’m hoping for is peace, Patton said.
“I think (the new administration will reunite the country) but it won’t be right off though.”

With 2020 in the rearview mirror, the focus of Greenfield’s first regular council meeting of 2021 was on the achievements of a challenging year, as well as what’s ahead.
In city manager Todd Wilkin’s report, he highlighted some of the things that have been accomplished despite all the obstacles that have come with life during a pandemic.
