HOUSTON A former Vertex Stone Houston employee claims a large piece of stone fell on her head causing her to be knocked unconscious.
Zitlalit Rodriguez filed a complaint Jan. 7 in Harris County District Court against Vertex Stone Houston LLC alleging negligence.
According to her complaint, Rodriguez was working as an accountant for Vertex Stone Houston. She claims that on June 24, 2019, she was asked to help load a large piece of stone onto a warehouse trailer when the stone fell and hit her in the head.
Rodriguez alleges she was knocked unconscious and suffered a head injury. She claims Vertex Stone Houston s negligence for failing to properly train and supervise its workers and failing to create safety guidelines and a safe work environment.
