Bhojpuri actor Pawan Singh has been suspended from the BJP for contesting the Lok Sabha elections from Karakat as an independent candidate. The Bihar BJP unit took this decision after Singh declined a BJP ticket for Asansol, West Bengal. Elections for the Karakat seat are slated for June 1.
Pawan Singh had earlier announced his decision to contest from Karakat Lok Sabha constituency as an Independent candidate for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
