Food Guy: Tidewater, Chop House, Bridge Road Bistro |  The Food Guy

Food Guy Steven Keith says that the closing of Charleston, West Virginia restaurants Tidewater Grille, The Chop House and Bridge Road Bistro & Catering is not because of a bad economy or bad dining experiences, but rather because since the COVID pandemic people are eating out less often, food prices are high and it s difficult to get reliable staff.

Local support builds for damaged Charleston animal shelter | News

Support has been pouring in for the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association after the organization’s building was damaged by a man driving a U-Haul at the end of March. So far, almost $50,000 has been donated to help with the nonprofit’s expenses, said Sarah Tolley, KCHA director of community engagement. “It’s just wild,” she said. “We’re so appreciative of it too.”
