The University Heights Charter Review Commission, which completed 10 months of work in May, participated in Monday's (June 5) City Council meeting. The CRC made 10 recommendations for changes to the city charter, including one that would change the way residents vote. Council must approve the recommendations for them to appear on the Nov. 7 ballot.
Barbara Blankfeld announced May 31 that she had resigned, effective that day, from University Heights City Council. As it did in the past month in replacing former councilman Justin Gould, who resigned April 18, council will again go through the process of gathering resumes from residents interested in filling the council vacancy.
