While the term “Environmental Justice” or “EJ” is not new, until recently it has appeared to be more of a politically correct buzz word than a movement effecting any real and consistent changes in regulators’ approaches to environmental decision-making. WASHINGTON The Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency has awarded a grant to Mifflin County.
A grant in the amount of $85,838 will be administered to Mifflin County for the purchase of body-worn cameras to outfit local law enforcement, Rep. Fred Keller, R-Selinsgrove, said in a press release Tuesday.
“Nothing is more important than ensuring the safety and security of residents in Pennsylvania’s 12th District,” Keller said. “I am grateful to the PCCD for its support of our local communities and am confident that the funds awarded will be put to good use in protecting the hardworking people who call our district home.”
