Pro wrestling veteran Davey Richards has signed with MLW
It was revealed in last night’s MLW Open Draft launch that Richards has signed with the company for the upcoming season. He will make his MLW debut on Saturday, July 10 in Philadelphia, PA. “Davey isn’t just a world class workhorse, he’s a beast, one that’s going to instantly change the dimension of the in-ring product in MLW,” said MLW CEO & Founder Court Bauer in a press release issued to us today. “I have a tremendous amount of respect for Davey, he’s been one of my favorites to watch for over a decade and I’m happy to welcome him to our newly expanded roster.”
ELP is coming to IMPACT Wrestling.
IMPACT Wrestling made the announcement this week that El Phantasmo (ELP) will make his debut on next week’s edition of IMPACT.

ELP is a former two-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion, aswell as holding the Rev Pro Wrestling British Cruiserweight Championship. ELP also won the Super J-Cup in 2019 and 2020.
Relations between NJPW and IMPACT Wrestling were reignited in February, with NJPW’s Juice Robinson & David Finlay debuting on IMPACT.
FinJuice defeated The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows) to win the Impact Tag Team titles on that show and went on to retain the titles against Anderson & Gallows at Impact Wrestling’s Rebellion pay-per-view this past Sunday.
The relationship between Impact Wrestling and NJPW will continue to grow as another NJPW wrestler comes to Impact next Thursday.
On Impact this week, a video aired announcing that El Phantasmo will make his Impact Wrestling debut on next Thursday s episode of Impact. El Phantasmo is a member of Bullet Club and part of NJPW s junior heavyweight division. He s a two-time former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion and has also formerly held the Revolution Pro Wrestling British Cruiserweight Championship. Impact Wrestling that the two-time New Japan Pro Wrestling IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion and two-time Super J-Cup winner, El Phantasmo, will make his Impact debut next week.
This will be the first time the Bullet Club member has worked for the company. ELP is the second NJPW star to work for the company.
