At a crash. Tow truck arriving on the scene to remove the car. At this point we know a woman was hit by a car at wiehle avenue and Chestnut Grove square. An ambulance rushed her to the hospital where were told she died. The driver did stay on the scene. Reconstruction team from the Police Department still working on this issue. That road is back open and we dont know if any charges are on the horizon. The man accused of shooting an officer is expected out of the hospital. That suspect along with three others were taken into Police Custody after the shooting last night. Holder and several other officers responded to a report of gunfire in queens. When they arrived officers and a man suspected of stealing a bike started shooting at each other. Holder was shot in the head. He died. He was 33 years old. A slowmoving typhoon is bringing misery to the philippines tonight. Typhoon koppu blew into the North Eastern part of that island nation today, leading to massive evacuations. Water poured into villages and devastating winds knocked out power across entire provinces. Take a look at this satellite image of the storm and look at the sheer size of it.
