Brand Dubai creates unique creative experiences in bus stops in Jumeira DUBAI, 23rd December, 2020 (WAM) Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office (GDMO), in collaboration with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), today unveiled a series of public art installations that form part of the second phase of the ‘Jumeira Project’. Created under the theme of ‘Memories of Jumeira’, the initiative features eight installations that celebrate the spirit of one of Dubai’s most prominent neighbourhoods. Developed by international artists, the artworks have been installed in select bus stops along Jumeira Road stretching from the Dubai Canal to Jumeira Al Naseem.

These Dubai bus stops now feature Instagrammable art installations

Have you spotted these yet? If you use the public bus transportation in Dubai or anywhere in the world for that matter, it does involve a bit of waiting. Instead of scrolling through your phone, you will now be able to check out some cool art installations set up right next to certain bus stops in Jumeira. The series of public art installations in Jumeira was launched by Brand Dubai in partnership with Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). The project is part of the second phase of the Jumeira Project – a project launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai to raise the neighbourhood’s profile as a social and cultural destination.

RTA joins Brand Dubai for creative installations in Jumeirah DUBAI, December 21, 2020 Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office (GDMO), in partnership with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), has launched a series of public art installations in Jumeirah region in bid to enrich the neighbourhood’s creative ambience.   The project forms part of the second phase of the Jumeirah Project, an initiative launched in 2018 to raise the neighbourhood’s profile as a social and cultural destination.   The project recently saw the activation of a new brand identity campaign to highlight the diverse experiences Jumeirah offers residents and visitors. As part of the new initiative, a total of eight artworks developed by international artists will be unveiled at select bus stops along Jumeira Road stretching from the Dubai Canal to Jumeira Al Naseem.
