Clark County residents will get their first look at a proposed county ordinance establishing a new code of ethics and ethics review commission at an April 5 public hearing. The ordinance could look quite different from what the voters had in mind when they asked for it.
Soon-to-be former County Councilor Eileen Quiring O’Brien formally resigned Thursday in a letter to County Manager Kathleen Otto. Quiring O’Brien’s last day on the council will be March 1.
During its meeting Tuesday, the Clark County Council had its first look at a proposed ordinance to create a new ethics review and oversight commission.
