Three former Town of Vulcan councilors have been appointed to review council’s remuneration.
Town council appointed Sue Dow, John Seaman and Judy Sanderson to the Ad Hoc Citizens Committee on Council Compensation.

Because the committee can only consist of members of the public, Kim Fath, the Town’s administrator, reached out to former councillors to ask if they would be interested in being on the committee.
“Being that they’re former councillors, they know the committee commitments and they know the financial constraints or positon of the Town of Vulcan,” said Fath during the Feb. 8 council meeting.
