OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – One of the suspects responsible for a Fox Crossing drug house was sentenced Tuesday to a year in jail.
John Hale, 57, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to deliver marijuana and psilocin (mushrooms). He was also placed on probation for five years.
Hale apologized before Judge Scott Woldt issued the sentence.
In court, it was noted Hale was a relatively minor actor for the operation, with his daughter, Ashtyn Hale, being the primarily-responsible party. The younger Hale, 28, returns to court Monday for a final conference.
Also charged was Billie Gerver, 56. She returns to court April 15 for a plea hearing.
