A Coast man was found with a 40cm samurai sword-like knife just months before he inflicted “ghastly” injuries when he stabbed a friend in the face and leg.
Quinn Daoud was sentenced to 10 months in prison on Thursday after he pleaded guilty in Maroochydore District Court to 26 charges including three counts of possessing a knife, four counts of driving without a license and one count of unlawfully entering a vehicle to commit and indictable offence.
It comes after Daoud was sentenced to three years in prison on February 2 for one count of unlawful wounding another person on July 13 last year.
