Six Flags Discovery Kingdom safely reopens rides to guests after being closed for over a year

VALLEJO, Calif. - Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo opened this morning to folks, families and especially children who were champing at the bit to get inside an amusement park for the better part of the year, if not more than a year. We are, along with our sister park in Southern California, the first theme parks in California to open its gates to guests to ride rides, said Six Flags Discovery Kingdom Marketing Director Kirk Smith.

A Weston couple have been spreading joy on Weston hillside with their Christmas lights display.
Jane and Alan Tozer, of Kew Road, put on an impressive festive lights display every year, to the delight of neighbours and passers-by.
Their grandson Joshua Goodwin said: My grandparents Jane and Alan Tozer light up the road every Christmas and it brings joy to everyone that sees it. They often get people taking pictures and even knocking on the door to say how lovely they are.
They do it not for recognition but to make people smile when they see the whole corner lit up and they would be over the moon if more people saw them.
